Delta G
New therapies from understanding ageing

Delta G <Archive>

Delta G is a new company discovering and developing treatments for age-related disease. Founded in 2002, we received seed investment of £130,000 in 2004, and are now carrying out research in collaboration with the Medical Research Council. We are based near Cambridge, UK, Europe's leading 'biotech cluster'. See here for an informal 'history'.

Delta G's principle research programme is in cancer therapeutics, applying breakthrough understanding of how energy metabolism changes with age to the discovery of drugs that target cancer in a new way. We also have intellectual property in other areas of bioenergetics - the way that the body transforms the Calories in food into energy for growth, movement, thought and healing.

Delta G intends to commercialise its research through partnerships on its preclinical programmes with industry. Delta G welcomes discussions with potential partners on any of its programmes.
